we had an absolutely wonderful time getting to know the sweet seimer family for their holiday portraits. ohio sun in the fall is our favorite time to shoot - plenty of golden hour with lots of pretty textures and wildflowers abound. and how about those two adorable kids, geez!
several weeks ago we documented and had our photo booth at a super special evening for IIDA's product runway, a design competition based on the ever so popular project runway, but with a twist. sixteen design teams presented fashion looks created from interior design products (carpet, upholstery, acrylic, vinyl, chairs, etc.) with interior designers as models on the runway. the event was hosted by dimitrious stanley with special guest appearance nina west. proceeds from this event went to dress for success.
earlier this spring we collaborated on a fun album artwork shoot with adam otcasek, from killough | otcasek for local, pop/ jazz/ indie band, trace marie and blue level. early on, trace, adam, and i discussed the vision for the shoot, which focuses on the idea of elastic scattering of light, hence the name of the new album, rayleigh scattering. here are a handful of our favorites. the cd release launch event is scheduled for june 8th at natalie's. for more information on trace marie & blue level, check out their website: www.bluelevelmusic.com.
