kristen + seth|atwood lake, canton ohio engagement portraits.

over this past weekend, we had a great time shooting engagement photos for kristen and seth. little did we know we'd be driving up to atwood lake, and going on a fun little adventure.  with photographs, you can be in control of your environment if you allow yourself the time to explore, find new spaces, beautiful light, and all at the same time, get to know your couple. plus, who doesn't like adventure these days? and we did just that... we hopped in the car, pulled over any time something looked interesting and fun.  we heard baby hawks, stumbled on a deer nest, and saw some great old spooky abandoned buildings. here's to more adventures in the future with these two!  we can't wait to come back up again for your wedding in october.

katie + jeff | white star barn rustic / chic ohio wedding.

here's a handful of favorites from this sweet and laid-back affair. katie and jeff's wedding took place on may 3rd at the white star barn. we had the pleasure of working with meleka from mmj events, who oversaw all of the incredible details and rustic charm for the event. the barn setting was especially sentimental to the bride, as it reminder her of her grandfather's farm. it was a beautiful evening, full of cheer, merriment and great conversation.

oh my, winter's all gone and i barely had the chance to post on here!  we've been busy traveling lately, a mini trip out to the oregon coast in february and wppi in vegas (with a day-excursion to the grand canyon, yippe!) earlier last month - a blog of that adventure coming soon, i promise!  so, now that spring is finally here, time to get some blogging done. this wedding is one of our most sought after wedding sample books when we meet with clients these days. it's adorable, woodsy, rustic, with a winery twist.  alicia and greg saw us at work at their friend's wedding the year before, and before we knew it we were meeting to discuss their big day. the day started out with a bit of rain, but in the end, it was a blessing because the filtered light and the post-rain high clouds gave us plenty of good filtered light to work with. we hope you enjoy this one!
